Denise Longley

Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Denise Longley founded Longley Capital with the objective to invest in meaningful companies at the forefront of emerging technologies. Denise has extensive experience helping companies scale and mitigate risk, both as an investor and operator in the private and public markets. Prior to Longley Capital, Denise was the Business Modeling Leader in Southern California at EY, after spending 5 years with the firm in NYC building the valuation and financial modeling practice and bringing several new services to market. Previously, Denise held corporate strategy and analytics roles at Encore Capital, where she was actively involved in many of the firm’s investments. She also led the development of a new channel from a finance and operations perspective. Denise started her career at HSBC as an analyst. Denise earned a BS in Management Science, magna cum laude, from UCSD in 2006 and an MBA from the Rady School of Management in 2010. A native of Zurich, Switzerland Denise is fluent in German, French, Spanish and English.

Steven Longley

Co-Founder

As co-founder of Longley Capital, Steven brings a strong track record in developing successful solutions, driving topline revenue production and growing shareholder value. As the principal investor and co-founder of Longley Capital, Steven works closely with Denise reviewing investment opportunities and stewarding Longley Capital’s portfolio. Steven is also currently the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Financial Recovery Technologies, a position he has held since Q1 of 2012. More…

During Steven’s tenure, Financial Recovery Technologies has grown globally to service over 800 financial institutions servicing more than $25 trillion in assets. Prior to FRT, Steven was Vice President of Business Development and Strategy within the editorial division of Thomson Reuters where he was a member of the Reuters Insider platform, a multimedia news and collaboration platform for the financial markets.

Steven began his career in sales with CCBN, an Inc. 500 company, where he was a top performing sales executive and contributed to a successful exit with a sale to Thomson Financial. Steven received a BA in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and received his MBA from the University of California San Diego Rady School of Management where he currently sits on the alumni board.
